PicMerchant › Product photo editor for Mac

A product photo editor for your Mac — without the big price or the big download

PicMerchant was built by a seller who couldn’t find a Mac photo editor for product photos that didn’t cost a fortune. It runs right in Safari or Chrome, so there’s nothing to install and nothing to update.

Why it works so well on a Mac

What Mac sellers usually end up paying

Photoshop and Pixelmator Pro can do almost anything to an image. If you sell things, you mostly need a few jobs done fast and done right — a clean background, a straight crop, the right size for each marketplace, a listing that reads well. That’s all PicMerchant does, and it does it in a couple of clicks.

Everything in one place

Works on your Mac

Nothing to download or install. It runs in Safari or Chrome on any Mac, and the same account works on a PC, iPhone or iPad.

Fix a cutout by hand

Tap to keep or remove a spot, a scalpel for clean edges and a hair brush — the same kind of hand tools pros expect.

Whole batches at once

Drop in a folder of photos: backgrounds off, logos and watermarks off, dark photos brightened — in one pass.

AI edits

Refresh a tired photo, combine two photos, or put your real product in a new scene.

Product videos

Turn your photos into a short video with captions and a voice — for listings, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube.

Listing kits

Titles, keywords and a description written from your product, ready to paste.

Marketplace photo check

One click tells you if a photo meets Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Etsy, Shopify, Google and Facebook rules, and downloads every size.

Photo Storage and a drive

Folders like your hard drive. Connect it to a Mac or PC and drag photos in and out like any drive.

Made for teams

Invite employees so everyone works from the same photos (Business plan).

Questions

Is there a PicMerchant app for Mac?

You don’t need one. PicMerchant runs in Safari or Chrome on your Mac, so it’s always up to date and there’s nothing to install.

Which Mac do I need?

Any Mac that runs a current version of Safari or Chrome. The editing is done on our servers, so an older MacBook Air works fine.

Can I drag photos in from the Photos app?

Yes. Drag photos from Photos, Finder or your desktop straight onto the editor or into Photo Storage.

Does it work on iPhone and iPad too?

Yes — same account, same photos, in Safari on your iPhone or iPad.

Is it cheaper than Photoshop?

PicMerchant has a free trial and a $19.99/mo Seller plan, or credits that never expire from $7. Adobe lists Photoshop at $22.99/mo on an annual plan. Photoshop does far more general editing; PicMerchant is focused on product photos and selling.
